Dear Sir, On Sunday, January 8th, at 7.30 p,m. there will be held in the Empress Hall, Earl's Court, the National Memorial Meeting in honour of those Englishmen who fell while serving with the International Brigade in Spain. To raise this commemoration to an adequate national status, we are inviting the National Executive Committees of the Progressive and democratic organisations to send a representative to this meeting, who will, on behalf of his organisation, pay tribute to those gallant men. Therefore, we send your organisation a cordial invitation to send a representative to this National Memorial Meeting. We shall appreciate an early reply informing us whom your organisation is sending as its representative, so that we may complete our programme. Thanking you, Yours sincerely, Charlotte Haldane Hon.
