Description
Summary:Duration: 00:52:00 The documentary tells the story of the civilian casualties from the villages of Grubori, Varivode, Gosici and Plavno during the course of operation "Storm". The "Storm" was a military offensive of the Crotian part of the Yugoslav secession wars that had as result the "liberation" of all Serbian occupied Crotian territories. The documentary adds to the previous unilaterally glorious accounts of this operation a tragic note, showing the mass killings performed by the Crotian forces in the villages their were entering. This documentary created an uproar in the Cortian public opinion, as it brought up on the public agenda the issue of the war-crimes performed by Crotian citizens by means of both getting officials and intellectuals involved in discussing such thorny topic, and by pooling the "silent majority" about the necessity of holding accountable the guilty parties..
