Summary:The series includes textual records relating to Schiffer's most acclaimed 'situational documentary film'. Research materials on Gypsies, film synopsis, editing script, production plans and documentation, background materials for the making of the film, viewers' letters; and photo prints of stand photos and promotional photos on the film "Gyuri Cséplő" (Cséplő Gyuri). The film follows the life of Gyuri, a young Gypsy man who leaves behind his native segregated Roma community to take a job in a brick factory of a nearby town in the hope of a better life. The film sheds light on hardships of a Roma for integration and assimilation in the communist Hungary in the 1970s. Accruals not expected
