Description
Summary:The series contains reports, meeting minutes, grant files, newspaper clippings and publications. Documents in this series cover various CSCE-OSCE meetings, summits and conferences, and, accordingly, include agenda statements, proposals, concluding documents, and various background materials. Files containing expert reports, interventions, recommendations or open letters prepared by IHF for various CSCE-OSCE events are important parts of the series. Media monitoring of CSCE-OSCE's coverage in the press can be also found. The documents compiled in this series mirror the manifold activities that IHF contributed with to the operations of CSCE-OSCE. They include participating in and supporting the participation of other Helsinki Committees in various meetings and seminars, conducting fact-finding missions and issuing reports based on their findings, and contributing thematic reports and a comprehensive report to the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting convened semi-annually by OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). IHF also conducted extensive networking activities in Vienna and other places: its staff frequently met with CSCE-OSCE delegates and briefed them on specific human rights problems and situations in various countries. There are several files which reflect on the history of the Helsinki Process and of CSCE-OSCE in particular, as well as analyzing the role and functions of IHF within this process. As of 2012, OSA is the official OSCE Depositary Library in Hungary. Some of the reports and publications contained in this series are also available in this Library. Accruals not expected
