"The Stories of Change" are projects made by students of several YFS courses completed during The Art of Documentary Filmmaking Stage Two in 2007. Made with the help of two NGOs, these documentaries portray people from Kachin State, southern Shan State and the Ayeyarwaddy Delta. They describe, in their own emotive and surprisingly humorous words, how development organizations are making a real difference to their lives. This DVD also includes short films “About the Stage Two workshop” and “About the Screenwriting Workshop,” another 2007 YFS course in which nine Burmese learned how to turn their stories into screenplays. |
