When their husbands die these women have to support themselves and their children, sometimes with no help or support from their extended families. “The Living” presents the life struggle and hope in the lives of Indian women infected with HIV. Priya, Rama, Parvati and Sovamma tell their personal stories, both from social and economical perspectives. Once infected, the decision to keep living is a difficult one, but many women take that decision and this film presents their story. |
