Having considered the report of the UN Representative on Hungary, Sir Leslie Munro, responsible for reporting on significant developments related to the implementation of the resolution, it considers that the special representative is not needed any more. It reaffirms the objectives of the previous resolutions and requests that the Secretary General take any initiative he deems helpful in relation to the Hungarian question.
