Summary: | Verzio FF Submission
A look at the Iraq-Iran war of the 1980's and its effects on the people living near the border. This film focuses on the life of an Iranian man who lost his wife, a daughter and two sons. Kazem, the eldest son, was serving in the military, went to war but never returned. Adnan, the second son, became a drug addict and left as well. The wife and the daughter were killed by him to spare them from the ravaging Iraqi soldiers. People judge him for his deed but he is still convinced that at that time that was the only choice he had. The only survivor is himself and his disabled child, Saleh. The story of a man who once had a life. |
