Summary:Records of this digital collection were assembled to document the work of the UN Special Committee on the Problem of Hungary established on January 10, 1957 by the United Nations General Assembly for the purpose of investigating the 1956 Hungarian revolution. Principal contributor(s): Béla Király Testimony on the military moves and the fighting in and around Budapest in October and November, 1956. The unnamed witness is most probably General Béla Király. The document contains hand-drawn sketches of military moves in Budapest. One of the maps seems to show a reversed image of the city.
