| Summary: | The series contain 30-40-page bulletins under the following titles: Baltic Press Digest, Soviet Media Daily Digest, Ukraine Today and USSR Today. The bulletins contain press clippings from the central and republic press, news agency releases, transcripts of radio and TV programs. In 1985-1987 some of the Ukrainian monitoring issues were included in the “USSR Today" bulletins.
Besides the tables of contents in Russian, Media Daily Highlights in English were included in bulletins from 1985-1988.
The series covers different economic, political, social and cultural issues and main events in the USSR as a whole and in the republics in particular. Materials on foreign affairs and events regarding other countries also can be found. Some of bulletins were compiled by topics - Ecology, National Problems, and Soviet Army.
