Description
Summary:Ioana, the daughter of a famous dulcimer player, is about to get married to her colleague in the Conservatory. During the wedding night she is "stolen" by some of her friends, who take her back to her apartment. When they get there, the place was just being robbed by some thieves, who rape Ioana. A fight ensues and she kills one of the aggressors. She's tried and sentenced to 10 years in prison. There she makes friends with three former fiddlers, Gigi, Dorel and Vali, who help her survive in the prison. Ten years later, two days before the three musicians are set free, Ioana (who is out on parole) meets a billionaire, Stefan, who wants to sponsor a documentary on imprisoned artists, and she falls in love with him. However, the three fiddlers know this man's past from the years when they used to smuggle petrol together. Dorel makes a connection between Stefan and the robbery of the apartment. When Dorel dies, Ioana loses the only possible witness who could elucidate the connection between the tragedy of her life and the man she loves.
