Principal contributor(s): Movement for the Defense of the Hungarian Nation A report on a movement launched for the Defense of the Hungarian Nation in the UN by representatives of the major American-Hungarian organizations in the United States. The objective is to ensure that the status quo occupation of Hungary by the Soviet Communists shall not be recognized by the UN. On August 17, the United States requested the inclusion of the Hungarian Question on the agenda of the present seventeenth session of the UN General Assembly, which inclusion was voted for by an overwhelming majority of Member States. This report contains valuable information on the names of various Hungarian organizations, clubs, and federations in various countries.
