Summary:Records of this digital collection were assembled to document the work of the UN Special Committee on the Problem of Hungary established on January 10, 1957 by the United Nations General Assembly for the purpose of investigating the 1956 Hungarian revolution. Principal contributor(s): World University Service Letter from World University Service to UN reporting that new student hostel has been established in Vienna and registration will begin as soon as possible at two camps near Graz holding approximately 100 students each. Preparations are being made to receive students at hostel in Fribourg and Rest Centre at Combloux in the French Alps. Letter also addresses Norwegian fundraising activities and resettlement offers for Hungarian students.
