Summary: | The final four episodes of the legendary TV series, structured as a chronicle of the post-war generation of Belgrade youth during the 1960s, gradually acquire more depressing overtone as the series’ main hero Bane Živković Bumbar learns new lessons, gets even more serious and begins to make compromises he had never made before. Episode 7 follows Bane and his group of friends on their gloomy summer vacation in Rovinj. Freshly diagnosed with a minor heart complaint, Bane, now a fresh law student is going through a hypochondriac phase. He abandons his friends as he falls in love with an emerging movie star residing there, but instead, ends up in bed with Goca - once his girlfriend, but now long-term girlfriend of his ex-best friend Uške. Serious changes also hit Bane’s family as Tale and Bane’s sister are expecting a baby, while Bane’s grandmother dies. |
