Prince Wan of Thailand expressed his sincere regrets that his best efforts were not good enough to penetrate the iron curtain of non-cooperation, and extended his best wishes to the next representative of the United Nations on the question of Hungary, Sir Leslie Munro, "in a noble cause which deserves the unfailing support of the United Nations until it finally prevails".
