Summary: | The second episode starts off with Šurda’s father paying him a visit in Belgrade, alarmed by a desperate letter from Firga. His fears that Šurda has sold the barbershop prove to be founded as Šurda is searching for a new job which would suit him perfectly. On his way out of the bank, where he withdrew his money, Šurda bumps into Bob who advises him about what to do. Since Šurda is searching for a more exciting and flexible job where he would not have to look at the same people every day, he listens to Bob, buys a fancy car and becomes a taxi-driver. Before long, however, Šurda regrets his decision and causes new worries and disappointments to his family. Lack of interest and concern for his customers, once again gets Šurda into a series of uncomfortable situations. Some of the customers do not pay, others he either rejects or forgets to charge and in the process manages to accumulate 7 complaints in just 20 days, while his car constantly needs repairing. Šurda’s taxi career is already over when he gets into a fight at the local football game and his car is totally destroyed. |
