| Summary: | The audio recording of the inauguration of Yehuda Elkana as Rector and President of the CEU in 1999. Member of the Board of Trustees Miklós Vásárhelyi opens the inauguration Ceremony with an introductory speech. The words of the former Pro-Rector who could not be present at the Ceremony are read out loud by the Executive Vice-President Istvan Teplan, words which are then followed by Yehuda Elkana’s speech. Among the personalities in the audience is Stefan Messmann who, in the same year, became the new Pro-Rector.
