Principal contributor(s): United Nations Special Committee on the Problem of Hungary The committee asked József Kővágó further questions in connection with his statement: about the proclamations of Imre Nagy, statements by Ernő Gerő and Béla Kovács, the demonstrations at the beginning of the revolution, the work of the committee conducting negotiations with the Soviet Union for the withdrawal of Hungary from the Warsaw Treaty, and the most important parties in Hungary.
