Description
Summary:Duration: 01:50:00 A group of four musicians and their female lead singer are anxious to get a job in the resort area of the Black Sea for the crowded summer months, so they jump at the chance to play at the Golden Sands hotel when a local hotel clerk says he has it set up for them. But they can only go on the condition that their lead singer is replaced with another for whom the director of their regional culture club has an attraction. They depend on the club for their license and equipment, so have to take the deal. The band takes off, only to find out that they don’t have an engagement in the promised hotel and have to play at an open-air restaurant in a camping. Their new singer is quite successful with her looks securing the engagement in the restaurant and the attention of the audience. Eventually she escapes with an Italian that has promised her a better gig somewhere. In the vortex of small compromises, mild flirtations, merriment and disappointments the group is learning how to be self-reliant and independent. Their career ends soon, but they realize that their friendship is more important fame.
