This 2016 working paper reviews the first comments and conclusions emerging from the debate on internal flexibility, its levers within German and French companies. This topic was addressed at the workshop « Collective Bargaining and Internal Flexibility: France and Germany Compared, and Prospects for France » organized in 2015 by France Stratégie, which brought together experts, union representatives and business managers from both countries to discuss it."
