Resolution re Hospital and Medical Services. That in view of the ever increasing calls made upon all workers for additional voluntary hospital contributions, together with the unfair incidence of the cost of such services in relation to the household, coupled with the apparent failure of the voluntary system to provide adequate accommodation, this Trades Council re-affirms its belief in, and demand for, the complete State ownership and control of all Hospital services, including a State Medical Service,; and that the costs should be a national charge.
