Description
Summary:001-0072-001 28. HOGAR ESPANOL. Reference was made to enquiries which had been received regarding the bona fides of Hogar Espanol, and as a consequence of a reply to the effect that it was a Communist organisation with which the General Council did not have relations, attention had been drawn to the claim of the organisation that trade unions affiliated to Congress had already responded to an appeal for funds made by Hogar Espanol. The view was expressed by members of the Committee that the response to such appeals was more likely to have been made by branches of trade unions rather than by the head offices themselves. IT WAS AGREED that the Office send a suitable reply. 292/946/1/72(i)
