Trade Union Congress, General Secretary, Sir Walter Citrine, Transport House, Smith Square, S.W.I. Dear Friend, Under the auspices of the Delegation in Great Britain representing the General Workers Union (U.G.T.) of Spain, the first general conference of our members in this country will take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 4th and 5th, 1942, in the Hogar Espanol (Spanish House), 22, Inverness Terrace, London, W.2. to be attended by delegates from groups of our members now employed in various industrial centres of Great Britain. The Agenda of the Conference is as follows 1. Report of the Delegation on the tasks of the U.G.T. in Great Britain. 2. Discussion on the Resolutions of the National Committee, U.G.T. 3. Elections to the leading committee in Great Britain. The Conference will open on Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. The first session will close at 9 p.m. The second session will open on Sunday at 10 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. We cordially invite the General Council of the T.U.C. to be represented and we shall be very glad to receive a fraternal delegate on behalf of your council.
