Arranging for the education of some ex-Servicemen and finding schools or training centres. Arranging for necessary visas to be granted to families of ex-Servicemen in Spain to be reunited with husbands Arranging passport, I.R.O. for Spaniards living in England to visit relatives in France or emigrating to South America. Obtaining necessary Police documents and Ration Books (with explanations of use of the latter) to new arrivals. Settling problems arising from the different status of refugees in England, with the Home Office. Arranging naturalisation papers. Arranging pensions for old age men, and sick benefit. Arranging for wounded men to be interviewed by our Spanish Doctors for rehabilitation, and finding suitable work. Caring for T.B. Cases and families Visiting and keeping in touch with inmates in Mental homes and communicating with families
