ESTABLISHED 1873. TELEPHONE No. 21886. BRISTOL Trades & Labour Council OFFICE 1 BRISTOL BRIDGE, BRISTOL, 1. General Secretary: E.H. PARKER. All Communications for the Trades Council or Labour Party should be addressed to above. EHP/MLB 21st. June, 1937. Mr. H.V. Tewson, The Trades Union Congress, Transport House, Smith Square, LONDON. S.W.1. Dear Mr. Tewson, re Basque Children I thank you very much for your letter of the 18th. inst. and I am sorry that we shall be unable to have a representative of the National Committee at the meeting on Monday evening. We are finding a good deal of opposition here to the suggestion of bringing some of the children to Bristol, but we hope to be able to overcome it. Kindest regards, Yours sincerely, Edwin H. Parker. Secretary.
