Description
Summary:035-0101-001 Secretary's WMC/MMC/223. 1st December, 1942. Mr. F.J. Olden, Amalgamated Society of Woodworkers, 129, Leeside Crescent, N.W.11. Dear Mr. Olden, International Brigade in North Africa. I am in receipt of your letter of the 27th November, and as you are no doubt aware, it is not the practice of the T.U.C. to act on communications received from Branches of affiliated organisations, I would suggest that you should communicate with your Head Office on such matters in the future. For your information, I may say however that we have already been in communication with the Foreign Office and Mr. Anthony Eden on the subject matter of your letter. Yours sincerely, General Secretary. 292/946/35/101
