Description
Summary:021-0089-001 WMC/EAB/AC/497 International 1st March, 1937. Mr. G. Stolz, International Federation of Trade Unions, 9, avenue d'Orsay, PARIS VIIe. Dear Comrade Stolz, SITUATION IN SPAIN: I.F.T.U. & L.S.I. CONFERENCE. I duly received your telegram about the maps. These are still with the printers, but we are hoping to have them despatched by the night train tomorrow (Tuesday). As we are not quite certain, however, whether all the arrangements for the Conference are being conducted from the I.F.T.U. offices, or whether they are being done jointly with the L.S.I., will you please be good enough to let us know tomorrow (Tuesday) either by telegram or telephone, whether the above maps should be sent to you direct, or whether some should be sent to the L.S.I. If they are to be split, please let us know what proportion should be sent to each office. I may say that they are being printed in English, French and German, in the proportion of 100, 100, and 50. I am sending you today, under separate cover, 200 maps showing the London Central 'bus routes, and upon which we have marked the positions of Liverpool Street, Victoria and King's Cross Stations, and the Central Hall. Yours sincerely, General Secretary. 292/946/21/89
