Discussion took place on the International Solidarity Fund and the recommendations made by the Committee for the meeting of the General Council of the International Federation of Trade Unions, to be held in Paris on Monday, 28th September. Mr. Hicks undertook to bring back an up-to-date statement of the operation of the International Solidarity Fund to the meeting of the National Council of Labour to be held on 30th September. The Chairman requested that whoever was appointed to go to Spain by the I.F.T.U. should bring back to the General Council of the Trades Union Congress the exact position with regard to the united front there. 292/946/10/94
