Description
Summary:1936-08-21 HTT/HT/ Publicity 21st August 1936 Mr. H.L. Spooner, Daily Herald, 12, Wilson Street, Long Acre, W.C.2 Dear Mr. Spooner, Herewith the suggested letter, with certain alterations which Mr. Middleton has approved and signed. We thought it desirable include the Labour and Socialist International in the expectation that your man in Paris will be able to get the signature of the President of the L.S.I. (Louis de Broukere; at the same time as he gets that of Sir Walter Citrine. De Broukere's signature and description can be attached, if he is in Paris; otherwise it won't necessarily require the credential itself to be altered in Paris. I hope this covers the ground in the way you want it. Yours fraternally, Publicity Officer. 292/946/10/134
