With reference to the proposed deputation to Lord Halifax about which I wrote to you on Friday, 1st April, he has intimated to-day that he will receive a small deputation from the General Council at the Foreign Office on Wednesday afternoon, 6th April at 4.30 p.m. I shall be much obliged therefore, if you would make arrangements to attend. I think a preliminary meeting should be held, and suggest that we might meet at the above offices at 4 o'clock before going to the Foreign Office. Yours faithfully, WALTER CITRINE, General Secretary. 292/946/12a/108
