Dear Mr. Bell, Footwear for Spanish refugees in France. Further to my letter of the 16th June enclosing an additional list of consignments in connection with the above appeal, I have now been advised of the following despatch: George Ward (Barwell) Ltd. 72 pairs in 2 cartons. I shall be glad if you will advise the C.W.S. Ltd. accordingly. I presume that no difficulty will be experienced in shipping these goods to France, bearing in mind the fact that the steamer originally named, and carrying the bulk of the consignment, sailed on the 1st June? Faithfully yours, Geo. Chester. General Secretary. Inform IFTU sent from Garston, L'pool 29/6/39 292/946/26/53
