Sir W.M. Citrine, Trades Union Congress, Transport House, Smith Square, London, S. W. 1. Dear Comrade Citrine, Our friend Wenceslao Carrillo, whom you will remember as a delegate for many years to our International Conferences, General Secretary of the Spanish Metal Workers Union and just recently a member of the Junta de Defensa which replaced the Negrin Government in the last days of the Spanish Repuplic, is now in London. He is staying at the Bonnington Hotel, Southampton Row, and has asked me to ask you if it would be possible for either you or one of your colleagues in the T.U.C., to have a talk with him. I should be very pleased if you could arrange such an interview with Carrillo. Yours sincerely, W. Schevenels. General Secretary. 292/946/26/123
