WMC/HVT/FC/455. Secretary's. 22nd January, 1937. Mr. J. Stolz, The International Federation of Trade Unions, 9, Avenue D'Orsay, PARIS, VIIe. Dear Mr. Stolz, GOODS FOR SPAIN. With further reference to my letter of 19th January in which I set out the goods which were being sent by the S.S. PELAYO and the S.S. CARPIO, and also to my letter of yesterday's date in regard to the sailing of the PELAYO being delayed from 21st January to 26th January, I have a further amendment of the particulars forwarded to you. It was stated in my letter of 19th January that 100 bales of dried cod were being sent in the PELAY0. New supplies have recently become available and the order has been increased from 100 bales to 200 bales, with a consequent increase in the total cost of the consignment from £4,706 to £4,780. Yours sincerely, General Secretary.
