Summary:Verzio FF Submission “Life of a Salesman" is a documentary about people and books, poor people and second hand-books. It aims to decipher the business of trading old books for money. It presents the antiquarians but also the people on the other side of the counter - those selling the books. Simultaneously it illustrates how and when antiquarians buy the books and where these books come from, and how. The main protagonist is Tibi, a salesman with a huge nose who has been in the business for more than 20 years. He is looking forward to a nose operation but before it happens he still has some work to do. He works in Budapest and through this documentary he explains how the business in unfolding, how the books are procured, preserved and sold.
