Summary: | Abu Dis is an Arab village at the foot of Jerusalem's Mountain of Olives. Following the start of the second Palestinian Intifada, the Israeli government decided to build a 2-meter high wall right through the middle of the village, dividing it into two sides. Many villagers found themselves living in one half of the town, while their shop or business was in the other. The film follows the daily life of three people living in Abu Dis: Isaac, a young Palestinian coffee vendor; Neta, an Israeli activist for Machsomwatch (Checkpoint Watch); and Yousef, the owner of a gas station. |
